Lord Vinayaka, Idumban, Palani Andavar, Arumugaswami, Vinayaka Murugan, Gajalakshmi, Saraswathi, Lord Shiva, Parvathi, Navagrahas the nine planets, Sun, Moon, Bhairava and Veerabagu grace from separate shrines.

There is a separate shrine in the temple called “Vel Kottam” where Vel the weapon of Lord Muruga is installed. Special Pujas are performed for the Vel on Sundays, Kruthika and Poosa star days. Those who worship the Vel regularly and continuously are relieved of prolonged and serious illness and derive all the benefits in life, is the staunch faith of the devotees.

The temple is open from 6.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Festivals at Sri Sivasubramaniaswamy Temple, Puduvandipalayam

  • 12 day Panguni Uthiram is grandly celebrated in the temple during March-April, when Lord Pataleeswara from Tirupathiriuliyur visits this temple with His consort Mother Perianayaki and will conduct the wedding of Lord Muruga with Valli and Deivanai and comes in procession. Surasamhara festival is celebrated for six days in Iypasi – October-November.
