Mahaganapati (Shri Siddhivinayak) Temple , Titwala, Maharashtra

The popular Siddhivinayak Mahaganpati Temple is located near Kalyan at Titwala. TheTitwala Ganesh temple is very ancient and built in a typical architectural style of Maharashtra.

The Titwala Ganpati, as it is popularly known, is flooded with devotees from all over Mumbai and nearby places, especially on Tuesdays, Chaturthis and Jayantis.

The Titwala Ganesh temple premises also have a temple of Lord Shiva and Goddess Laxmi. There is also an artificial pond constructed outside the Titwala Ganesh Mandir premises. There a garden surrounding the pond. You can enjoy your time at this place between 4 pm to 7 pm. Arati is held two times in a day.

The Prasad offering consisting of 1 coconut, Mudi packet, Flowers, and Agarbatti can be bought from outside the premises for Rs. 40(approx).

Titwala Ganesh Mandir Timing:

  • Daily 5 to 13(1:00 pm) hours and 14(2:00 pm)  to 21(9:00 pm) hours
  • Temple Close for 13(1:00 pm)  to 14(2:00 pm) hours & 18:00(6:00 pm) to 18:45 (6:45 pm) Every day.(Only the Sannithi Doors  of Ganapathi will remain closed.Temple  remains open)
  • Temple remains open at 4:00 to 23 hours For sankashti, chaturthi.
  • For Angarika chaturthi temple is open from Monday Midnight to Tuesday Midnight
  • In sankashti & Angarika Darshan will close for 45min before moonrise.

How to reach titwala ganesh mandir:

On the central line towards Kasara (Fast / Slow is ok), get down at Titwala Station. The Titwala temple is at a distance of about 2.5 km and can be reached either by Tanga (for Rs.40 if 6 person either Rs 50 Individual ) or by Auto (for Rs. 15, Return Rs 10) approx in around 5 to 10 mins.
