Kartik Purnima Puja

It is strongly believed by the Hindu devotees that annually on the Karthik purnima day the Gods and Goddesses really comes down on earth in order to make the household prosper and happy in togetherness.

Therefore in most of the Hindu households and temples, Karthika purnima puja is conducted in a grand manner on this very auspicious day. On this particular day, devotees take a dip or bath in the Ganges and other regional sacred rivers and lakes in order to directly eliminate all types of negative forces and better yield different kinds of positive results in personal and professional life.

In most of the Hindu household and temples, Shri Satyanarayana puja is conducted in a grand manner during the Kartik purnima day. The family members indulge in this pooja in order to appease lord Vishnu and achieve a person’s aims and desires fulfilled. It is to be remembered that a person who wishes to perform the Shri Satyanarayana puja on each and every pournima day can initially begin on Kartik purnima day. On this day, goddess Lakshmi puja and Mahalakshmi puja are conducted to please Godeess Lakshmi to a great extent. In some Lakshmi puja, special offerings are paid to lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi. This particular puja is conducted for being healthy and prosperous in life.
