Effect of Grahana on Kundalinee Shakti

Grahana is the ideal time to work on your Mantra Sadhana. During Surya Grahana or Chandra Grahana, the Kundalinee Shakti will flow freely leading to a state of Samadhi. It is for this reason that the Grahana Kaal Sadhana is ideal for Mantra chanting.

During Grahana, Sun and Moon will be in a different alignment with the Earth which leads to the opening of Ida and Pingala Nadi. They are also called the Surya Nadi and Chandra Nadi. When both of these work in sync, it opens up the Sushumna Nadi. This is normally achieved during high stage of meditation. But during Grahan energy will naturally flow in the Sushumna Nadi.

Most people do not know the significance of this Grahana Kaal and simply waste their precious time. If you happen to chant mantra during Grahan Kaal, it is 1000 times more powerful than normal period. If you have to complete a set of 1 lakh Gayatri Mantra, it is enough that you chant it for 100 times during Grahan Kaal. This Grahana Kaal Mantra Sadhana can be used for any mantra that you have obtained from your Guru. If there is no particular Mantra, it is better to chant Gayatri Mantra, Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra or any other regular mantras.

Grahana Kaal is also used by many sadhus and aghoris to worship the Kundalinee Shakti. They do specific Devi Puja for which they have obtained Deeksha. However, common man can utilise this Grahan Kaal to chant everyday mantras and get the blessings of the almighty.
